3 ways to cope with retroactive jealousy
1. Breathing techniques
When we get mental movies/intrusive thoughts our body very quickly goes into fight or flight. Leading us to either shut down, or act out a compulsion to gain relief.
Breathing can help us with this. I recommend box breathing but feel free to do your research and practise different techniques in order to see which works best to help calm you down.
2. Meditation
Meditation has been proven to be great for your mind. It helps you with becoming the observer of your thoughts, instead of someone who gets lost in them.
It can help you take distance from the intrusive thoughts and not react however if you are stressed in other areas of your life and do not meditate consistently you may experience setbacks.
3.Journaling
